Caffeinate

Keep your Mac's display awake from the menu bar, the same way the caffeinate -d command does.

Choose Caffeinate in the menu to keep the display awake. A checkmark shows while it’s on. Choose it again to turn it off.

While Caffeinate is on, the display doesn’t dim or go to sleep when you’re idle, so the screen doesn’t lock in the middle of a long build, a download, or a demo. It works like running caffeinate -d in Terminal.

It never gets in the way of shutting down: Shut Down and Restart still work, and closing the lid still puts the Mac to sleep. Caffeinate turns off when you quit Devbar.
